Registration includes all training materials, access to laboratory equipment,
lodging and most meals.

Breakfast is provided each day at your hotel. All other meals -- lunch and dinner -- are also provided for during training days (i.e. Monday through Friday). You are responsible for lunch and dinner on non-training days (i.e. Saturday and Sunday).

  • Orientation:  4 p.m. on Monday, June 11th at the FFA Enrichment Center with a dinner and presentation to follow.

  • Daily Schedule:  8:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. Monday-Friday with a 1-hour catered lunch break from Noon- 1 p.m.

  • Closing:  12 p.m. on Friday, June 22nd

Please schedule travel arrangements to ensure your attendance at scheduled events. If you are flying, the airport is approximately 20 minutes from the FFA Enrichment Center. Transportation options include rental car / taxi / arranged with institute. When booking flights allow time for travel and check-in.

The institute sessions will be held at the FFA Enrichment Center on the DMACC campus in Ankeny, IA.

Graduate Credit Offering

Participants in the Institute may obtain 2-3 graded, graduate credits of AgEdS 590A, Section XW "CASE-Curriculum for Agriculture and Life Science Programs" by completing additional assignments and paying the graduate course fee. More information will be available to those who register for the Institute. Estimated tuition cost through Iowa State University Distance Education is $396 per graduate credit for both in-state and out-of-state students.
