FFA Enrichment Center

Our Story: A Vision for Agricultural Leadership

The FFA Enrichment Center is the realization of a decades-long dream to support Premier Leadership, Personal Growth, and Career Success for Iowa’s agricultural youth. The journey began in 1986 with the establishment of the Iowa FFA Foundation, followed by a formal fundraising campaign in 1991 to build a facility dedicated to agricultural education.

Through unwavering support from FFA members, community leaders, and industry partners, the FFA Enrichment Center broke ground on October 8, 2007, on the DMACC Ankeny campus. After nearly 25 years of dedication, the center officially opened its doors on April 17, 2010, welcoming nearly 400 guests to explore this state-of-the-art educational and event facility.

A Hub for Innovation & Learning

Designed to support high school and college-age youth, the 60,000-square-foot facility features:

  • Smart classrooms & STEM laboratories
  • Computer & science labs with high-speed internet
  • Future-ready fiber optic technology for long-distance learning
  • Recreational & exhibit space for interactive learning experiences
  • A premier conference facility accommodating 500+ participants

Built on Support & Dedication

The FFA Enrichment Center stands as a testament to collaboration between the Iowa FFA Foundation, statewide FFA chapters, agribusiness leaders, generous donors, and DMACC officials who believe in the future of agriculture.
